Project Consultation
Project Consultation
Our Process
Project consultation refers to an initial meeting or planning session with a client to assess the scope, feasibility, and details of a project before beginning any hands-on work. During this consultation, the handyman will:
- Understand Client Needs: Gather information about the client’s vision, priorities, and goals for the project to ensure clarity on what needs to be done. This may include discussing aesthetic preferences, functionality requirements, and the overall purpose of the work.
- Assess Scope and Complexity: Examine the site, evaluate existing structures or systems, and identify any potential challenges or limitations. This step is crucial to avoid unforeseen issues that might impact the project later on.
- Offer Expert Recommendations: Based on their experience, the handyman can suggest materials, design options, techniques, or approaches that might improve the project, enhance durability, or save the client money.
- Provide Cost and Time Estimates: Give the client an approximate breakdown of costs for materials, labor, and any additional services. They’ll also estimate the project timeline, setting expectations for how long the job might take from start to finish.
- Discuss Regulations and Permits: If applicable, the handyman may inform the client about any necessary permits, zoning requirements, or code regulations relevant to the project.
This consultation allows both parties to align expectations, establish trust, and build a clear roadmap, ensuring the project runs smoothly once it begins or not.
This can also be a way to determine if a project is feasible and or if it should be referred
to another trade professional.
